You can create a Google Document Sheet, or Slide from a Template

  • Open a new Google Doc, Sheet, or Slide.
  • Click the File menu and choose New, and then choose From Template.
  • Use the Narrow By Type option in the sidebar to narrow template search results by application type.
  • You will have tabs across the top from which you can choose templates. The Public tab has templates that have been submitted to the public gallery. The Goshen College Templates tab has templates that have been shared by others at Goshen College. The Templates I've Used tab lists templates that you've used from the public gallery. It shows only the 20 most recent templates. And the My Templates tab shows any templates you have submitted to the public gallery. Click on the Preview option to get a preview of the selected template. Click on the Use This Template button to insert the template into your file.
