Problem printing after changing your GC password

If after changing your GC password you are not able to print, below are instructions that you can follow to resolve the issue:
 
WINDOWS USERS
  • Click on Start
  • Go to Devices and Printers
  • Remove all of your GC printers by clicking once to select the printer and then clicking on the Remove Device button
  • REBOOT your computer by clicking on Start, clicking on the arrow next to "Log Off" and choose Restart
  • After your computer has rebooted, click on Start
  • In the search box, type in   \\printers.goshen.edu   and press Enter on the keyboard
  • A window with all of the campus printers will appear. Find the printer(s) you want to re-add and double click each one to re-add them to your computer
  • Try printing.  If you still cannot print after following these instructions, contact the Help Desk at (574) 535-7700
 
MAC OS USERS
  • Desktop computers:
    • REBOOT your computer by clicking on the Apple icon, and choosing Restart
  • Laptop computers:
    • Make sure you are connected to GCFile
      • In the Finder, click on Go and choose Connect to Server
      • In the Server Address field, type in smb://gcfile.goshen.edu/homes
      • click on the Connect button
      • enter in your GC username and password, then click on the Connect button
    • Go to Managed Software Update - click on the search icon (a magnifying glass) that is in the upper right corner of the screen, type in Managed Software Update  and press enter on the keyboard
    • In the "Software updates are available for your computer" window, click on "Printers" and then click on the Update Now button. (If Printers is not in the list, go to the next step.)
    • REBOOT your computer by clicking on the Apple icon, and choosing Restart
    • Try printing. If you still cannot print after following these instructions, contact the Help Desk at (574) 535-7700
