Need a database connection to open the form painter error

Upon tryint to run a report in Infomaker you receive the following error:

"Need a database connection to open the form painter"

To fix this, do the following:

  • Go to Fixed by running M:\Support\Utility\Jenzabar\ODBC\Jenzabar EX4\Run_reg_and_file_copies.bat

    Generally, most current Jenzabar and Infomaker problems can be fixed by running this. It changes critical registry settings, placing JNZ_PROD and the other database choices in the "Database" dropdown when logging in to Jenzabar, along with creating database choices in Infomaker's DB Profile, where users are supposed to go to log in.

If this script did not fix the issue, contact the Help Desk at 574-535-7700.
