Connection Untrusted message
Posted by Patricia Goodman on 13 February 2012 08:33 AM

If when going to a secure website (a website that begins with 'https') you receive a message that the Connection is Untrusted, as long as you know that this is a site that you can trust, you can take the following action to add a certificate exception so you may view the website.

  • On the "Connection is Untrusted" page, click on 'I understand the risks'
  • Click on the Add Exception button
  • Click to put a check mark in the 'Permanently store this exception box'
  • Click the Confirm Security Exception button
