Embed a Poll Everywhere link in Google Slides

These instructions walk you through adding a Google Chrome add-on so that you can embed a Poll Everywhere poll as a Poll Slide in your Google Slides deck.

  1. Make sure you’re using Chrome as your browser. Since it’s a Chrome extension doing the magics, it won’t work in Firefox or Internet Explorer.
  2. Download the free Polling in Google Slides add-on from the Chrome Web Store.
  3. Open your Google Slide.
  4. On any slide, click Insert Image. Choose the “By URL” option.
  5. Enter the URL of the poll you want to use. You can copy it from the live results view of your poll in Poll Everywhere.
  6. Now click Present. When you open the Poll Slide, it will automatically activate for you.
